I sincerely liked where this game was going, but now I'm worried by what signs that it's showing...

Patreon is not the only website around, there are plenty of other players & supporters to attend elsewhere to be found.
It means a lot to to the players to hear from the development team, as it gives us purpose & reason to follow & support the game as it would seem...
It verifies that the game is indeed still alive, isn't that what helps make your game grow & thrive?
You don't always have to give the game away for free, but to at least hear from you bi-weekly is key.
I hope that you'll see the wisdom in my advice, and see the practicality of it to be more precise.
You're practically neglecting the community here... that's not a good way to gain supporters I fear.
A bit of kindness goes a long way..., sometimes even in return earning a modest pay.

I literally had nothing better to do that night so long ago anyway and I really enjoyed your game even though it was just a short demo. I'm so glad you are still working on it. Well, I can only imagine that the devs are a busy lot considering that I see only two of them working on the game. The complexity is made even more difficult by going for tactical RPG. Still, this is a good read and the only advice I can say is to wait it out. Any news/post is good enough than no news or replies to threads.
