The String Maker only makes String.  String is used to make the Clothes Line, the Fishing Rod, and the Guitar.  The Clothes Line is needed to dry Clothes that were washed in the Crude Wash Tub after they became dirty by being worn by Folk that were eating various foods.  The Fishing Rod is used for catching Salmon, which then can be cooked on a Crude Oven to become Cooked Salmon which can be given to Folk as food.  The Guitar makes music when played by either the Farmer Player or by Bots.
