Mac version corrupt?

Hi, previous version of Bitty worked fine on my Macbook. OS X 10.14.6 late 2012. This latest version downloaded today (twice) won't start with message that the application is corrupt and should be moved to the bin - which I did. I have reinstalled previous version which works fine. Just for your info. Thanks for the great software.

Thanks for the report! Re-packaged and re-uploaded, please try again. And make sure it has the execution permission.

I downloaded again and tried to open using a right click - this usually allows me to elect to let the application run. Same story, system says the file is damaged and should be moved to the bin. I am away from the mac for a few days so when I return I will try the permission "thing" and see if that works. As noted previous version worked fine.

In my experience it requires less extra operations to get it run before MacOS 11, it solves most of the issues by giving it execution permission. But you might need to allow 3rd-party app to run in the system settings besides the permission, if it's not turned on yet.

I've tested the latest package on both MacOS 10.15 and 11 (big sur) on which it works ok. Feel free to tell me for any troubles.

Hi, back on the MacBook. Changing the permission (chmod 777......)  as specified worked.  Maybe I should just follow instructions in future! Thanks.

That's great!
