I have been having issues trying to get the latest version running on Mac, I have tried bring it to terminal as I usually and input cd (filename) and chmod but that didn't enable me to open the jar file as usual. If anyone has a better method of getting this game to work on Mac I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

If the .jar file won't open, it's probably an issue with what java version you're running - it should be java 11. The application should be working (possibly requiring chmod +x) with the next release.

Okay now when I try running the game directly through itch the custom cursor pops up for a moment and I can hear the music in the background, but no picture appears. When I try to open the jar version, nothing substantial appears to happen.

Nope everything seems to be disabled, the music plays and it says the game is running but I can't see a thing.
