I've been seeing a lot of the same issues for Mac: it "runs" but you can only hear the music and see the icon. I was excited about the update because I had just gotten back into the game in July. Is there a way you can bring back an older version so we can attempt to play it again? 

I didn't even mean to update, the game was working fine for me until I did. I've read through all the "troubleshooting" and it does not look like it's fixable. At least for me. 

and I have updated my Java, it has not changed a thing. I saw that under the other Mac posts. I would just appreciate an older version of the game until there is a more available solution to this problem.
