What is the appropriate type of license that I should use for my music packs?

Hello guys, how are you?

I am writing to you, because I just noticed that is posible for me to set the "license type" on my projects and I havent done so until now. I am a bit confused because I saw a lot of "license types", could someone guide me?

my situations is this one:

I am a composer, so I create my own music wich is already copyrighted by international laws, I am also the publisher, so I have total control over the tracks (meaning I can sell licenses to anyone I want). the thing is that I want to sell the music packs for the developers to use in their videogames, but I dont want people transform the music.

what should be the proper license for this use?

It's definitely not Creative Commons if only people who paid for it get to redistribute it. If you want to use the asset license metadata at all I think it'd have to be "All rights reserved", and then some terms on the project page to expressly grant additional permission to purchasers.

hey GoodBunny thank you very much ^^, then with all rights reserved license the people who purchase will be able to use it in their games without problem?

“All rights reserved” means as it says: that you reserve all rights to your work. It’s the closest thing in the list, and one that is strictly a superset of what you want, which is very important.

but will developers will be able to use the music in their videogames if I choose that one? which one would you suggest?

There's no way to give developers just the permission you're talking about using the itch.io dropdown selection box. You'll have to write the permission in words yourself. If it's very important to you, you might need to consult a lawyer to get it right.
