Hello I am currently working on a game (about a month in) and need some music.  I am looking for a composer to create music for the game. This will allow for a lot of creative freedom. It is currently an unpaid project that can be used for credit and for a resume. If the game becomes profitable, I am willing to back pay and share some of the profits. Please message me if interested.

What's the game genre? What kind of music are you looking for?

It's a hybrid RPG. I would love some epic music if I had my preference.

I could make a track or two for your game. My normal music specialty is electronic, but I have done some spare epic compositions in my free-time. DM me at Agent_K#4338 on Discord if you would like to hear some samples. (Most of my YouTube  vids feature my electronic stuff as of right now).

Let's see art style and any influences you have, I'd be down to mock something up

No art done yet. I am in the process of teaching myself pixel art. It is a fantasy based theme RPG.

Hey! My name is Gatex, im a musician, If you ever need music for a game you can contact me. Here's my portfolio: https://soundcloud.com/gaston-gatex/sets/game-music-original-portfolio Im always looking foward to meet new indie game devs!

Hey Gatex, Love your music. You have clearly been doing this for a while. I love the versatility in your portfolio. So, of course I would love to get some music from you. Any fantasy based music themes would be much appreciated.

Hey! thanks man, I appreciate your words.  ok! so do you have any references? or is it just any kind of fantasy themes

It is still fairly early on in production, so there isn't any real art yet. Story wise it takes in the afterlife (but the player doesn't know that at first). Again it is still early as I haven't even finished the frame work of the story out line. Its all in notes and in my head.  But I love game music and if I get a song or two early enough, I want to write the story to fit what I feel in the music. I should note that the game is going for a wide audience and not too dark. So I might touch on some interesting themes, they would be more in the background and hinted at more than in your face. But most importantly to me is that the composer does something they feel. The music just has more meaning and it gets conveyed.
