'“TuxAndFanny” is damaged and can’t be opened' message on macbook air

Hi! I just downloaded Tux & Fanny. Tried to open it initially, and it said it couldn't be opened, so I did the terminal thing. Now it's saying "'TuxAndFanny' is damaged and can't be opened". Help!

Hi, sorry for that inconvenience. There's another terminal trick that seems to help if you want to try following the same steps as before but replace the previous command with:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine

Let me know if that does the trick, otherwise I'll find another solution for you.

Doesn't work for me for the demo. I plugged this 'sudo' line into the instructions from the other link.

"The application "TuxAndFanny" can't be opened." Mac OS 12.0.1 if it matters.

EDIT: I used the Mini instructions on my MacBook Air and that did the trick.
