Pinterest No Longer Likes Itch

It seems that Pinterest has blocked the entire itch site, classing it as "spam or other inappropriate content". And deleted pins linking here as well.

Blech. They probably noticed that itch.io hosts NSFW content, never mind all the precautions.

It would certainly be useful to have it restored. It would be even better if Pinterest restored all the deleted pins, but I bet they can't.

Hopefully it’s only a “soft” delete and if the domain is restored the pins will come back.

Pinterest is basically a curated Google image search.  Their role is to connect people looking for images with the source of those images, not to provide or host original content.

I'm able to add new itch pins again and it looks like old ones have been restored.

Congrats on getting this sorted out! Goes to show- sometimes you just have to raise an issue- and things happen.
