Hello

This is my first game on itch.io, hope you’ll enjoy it.

It started as a test for Visual Novel maker for a more visual experience compared to standard visual novel. This setup allowed me to use the “show not tell” approach as I’m not good at writing especially in English.

As I added more and more content, the game reached about an hour length, so I decided to publish it.

Have fun!

Summary

The first chapter of an episodic Action Sci-fi story about a transfer employee to the big city and a fateful encounter with three mysterious girls. What started as a fight against an evil corporation just got weirder...

Congratulations on your first itch game!

Regarding your Game; the first thing that struck me the most were the 3D models and the renderings of the scenarios. There is a lot of work put into this project.

May I ask, did you use 3D Studio Max or Maya?

Wish you good luck  in all your projects.

Regarding the rendering , they are all done with  Daz studio, a free program for posing pre made asset. You can customize the pose and the likeness of the actor. It's quite good and the assets are not too expensive. I used Blender for some minor asset (look in the credits for all the software i used). I started with comics, then i discovered Visual Novel Maker so i tried to make a game. It's very good , easy to use and quite fast for simple animation. Unfortunately the solo programmer is working at implementing Live2d and many bugs remain unsolved.

Quite a remarkable array of tools, good on you. The final outcome seems to be great and very professional. At the moment, I'm only using Vectorworks and Artlantis to design in 3D and render.  I'm also planning on taking Blender in the near future (3D studio is way too expensive).

Hopefully the "solo programmer" will find and kill all those pesky bugs.

I'll be around,

Nice to meet you Granmerluzzo.

Blender sure has grown in the last year and the 3.0 version is amazing. There is also a plugin to import directly from daz studio. If you are interested in archiviz and you have the right graphic card you could try D5 , it's incredibly fast and do beautiful render ad the base version is free.
