Dreamtime Combat is an action platformer based on Australian aboriginal mythology in which you play as a hostile eaglehawk. End the era of Dreamtime by means of the violent murder of Australian gods! Destroy totems to expel divine power from the mundane world and kill the culture hero Baiame and almighty rain god Rainbow Serpent!

From the moment I saw your icon (an animated brain vomiting rainbows) I knew this was going to be good.

The story is definitely something to look into, but the action on screen is hellish; between multilayer backgrounds, bloody enemies, some good particle systems and some metal bands... Boy! I'm in!

May I ask you:

1.- How long did it took you to create this game?

2.- What software did you use for the creation of your videos

All the best luck in your projects.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad that you like it) Yeah, the story isn't just the weakest part of this particular game. I'm a bad storyteller in general but I'm gonna fix it.

I spent one and a half months on the development and worked on this project all my spare time (4-8 hours a day). It's a kinda experimental game, I wanted to make it super polished no matter how unreasonable it would be (1,5 months of the development for 4 minutes of gameplay would be madness in case of working on a commercial project).

I use OBS to record videos, Sony Vegas for editing them, and audacity to record my voice.

Thanks Skinner Space! I'll try to use those tools to create my own video.

Good luck with your games.

Thanks)
