“tic80.app” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
Yes, the binary isn't signed with the Apple Dev certificate, but you can always go to the system preferences and allow to run it in the Privacy settings.
You can also right click -> Open the app in Finder. macOS will show the same dialog, but it will have an Allow button on it.
