Clarification on the Command Column

Hello, Brainfoam!

First off, thank you for creating and releasing this amazing dialogue engine! It works really well!

I come seeking guidance. Can you provide an example on how to execute code via the Command Column inside dialogue spreadsheets? I’m not a deeply experienced programmer (I dabble) and I’ve tried a few methods to try and do something simple as set a flag to a different status (turn “x” flag from false to true for example). I’ve read your documentation and the Scribble documentation over for 5 hours to try and figure this out, but I may just lack the experience necessary to figure out this part (the rest of this, I’ve implemented and it’s working fine).

I appreciate any assistance you can provide and appreciate your time. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey there! We just DM'd on twitter but I figured i'd answer for the sake of others. The command column is a "free space" essentially giving you the ability to implement custom commands. So, in its nature, it does not have the ability to execute GMS scripts and code. Scribble, however, does have the functionality to execute code in-line.
