Soooooo, in my first 10 minutes of the game I deleted an entire ship in the editor and now I can't get it back (it's just a grey dot now). Is there any way of fixing this?

but I had a problem with the ship editor: I deleted so many polys from a ship that now just a triangle remains... I would love to restore the original ship, but I cant generate any new poly, just dots... I tried deleting the game and re-installing everything, but the ship is always a bone of what it was XO

I had the same problem messing with the ship editor til there where no ship left. And now way to restore it. Tried to delete the game and reinstall it. And still no restore. Expect the method you showed in the AppData folder. Thank you.
I didnt know where $HOMEDIR was. So I whent to Users/AppData... and so on. I dont think everyone know where the AppData folder is becouse it is hidden until you do that thing to make it visible. Im no data expert. You should find an easier way to restor to the defult ships. Like a restor button in the ship editor.
Or just take away the editor so no more people messes up their ships. But it is nice tho have the editor thoug. You decide.
An other thing. I tried to create a simple ship. But it was very difficult becouse I could never remember wich buttod did wich thing. I was using an xbox 360 controllet. And also had to tilt the controller sideways so the four direction buttons would guide the pulygons in the right direction.
I hope this is not the same with custom tracks that you messes up the existing ones and no way to get them back exept go in AppData and delete.
I just bought the game to day 31.sep.2021 Very solide gameplay. And im very happy you could take on or off the glich effect when crashing. I like it off or minimum.
