Controller Issues

I'm playing on mac and using a ps3 controller, and for whatever reason, the game assumes that both triggers are always held down even though they're not.

During the opening sequence when I was prompted to release the right trigger, nothing short of unplugging the controller allowed me to continue. When I unlocked the quick menu, it just stayed up and wouldn't go away. I had to disconnect the controller again just to access the pause menu. From there, switching the quick menu from hold to toggle worked, though I then couldn't bring up the quick menu at all without using the keyboard. Finally, I unlocked a melee art and since then I've been stuck in a constant loop of automatically using the art the second I have enough MP for it. I couldn't find a workaround for this one besides swapping the attack and charge buttons, which cuts off access to the melee attack and charge shot.

I know the triggers themselves are not stuck because I tested them with other games and they work just fine. It does not seem to be a problem with the controller, nor with the way the controller communicates with my computer. If this is not the place to send bug reports, or if there's something else I can do that I haven't thought of, any advice would be appreciated.

I am on Linux, and my PS4 controller also makes issues. The charge attack is placed on Options and the start menu gets accessed via L3, I cant move the aim cursor in the "ball shooting" tutorial more than 45 degrees and so on.

Controller works on other games.
