What’s inside the Linux pro version?

Is there an APT package (.deb) inside the tic80-v0.90-linux-pro.zip?

I use Debian GNU/Linux, and I’m really considering buying the pro version, but I rather install an APT package or Flatpak package – I don’t want to ./configure/make/sudo make install. 😬

Or is there an x86_64 ELF executable in the ZIP file? If so, it wouldn’t be a problem, but it wouldn’t be ideal either, ’cause it’d force me to create the .desktop file and everything related.

(Okay, I’m annoying and picky, I know…)

Hi,

there is only a x86_64 ELF executable in the ZIP file, but you can download .deb file on the releases page on Github https://github.com/nesbox/TIC-80/releases/tag/v0.90.1723

Hi Nesbox!

I have that .deb package installed. I’m talking about the pro version, which I’m thinking of purchasing.

ok, we'll add pro .deb with the upcoming release

You’re the best! Woohoo!
