[Spoilers] Great game, but I'm having some trouble

I'm currently working my way through the final sequence of the game. The first part took me wayyyyyyy longer than I felt it should have, and it feels like the game assumes the player has wayyy more time to do things than they actually do. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the drill looking things could be slowed down just a bit. The window of time to survive and do the correct things is so small that I routinely mess up from the pressure

Finished the game. It was a lovely experience overall. turned out, dashing diagonally and as often as possible helped me shave off the milliseconds necessary to get through. Though I still feel it could be less tight. Thank you for the free key! I hope lots of people play this

Really glad you enjoyed it! And yeah regarding the final sequence, it can be tight in terms of timing, but the dash is pretty necessary there, I've had quite a few people play test it before release, and some found it harder than others. That being said, it is the final portion of the game, so it's supposed to be challenging :)

Thanks so much for the feedback though!

Yo just beat the game, took me a little over an hour to 100% it, and really enjoyed myself.

Overall I'd say the part I found the most difficult was only having 2 powers at once, which made the parts which necessitated power switching more difficult than they would have been should I have had access to all of my powers at the same time.

Also there is a bit in the final stretch where you run from the drills and the bombs dropping where after you open the door by shooting all the torches you dash directly down a hall into a long pressure pad that kills you, it feels like an unfair death because you can't see that it's a longer pad given the screen position.

It's not a huge deal but it definitely felt unfair given that you're racing against time and there's nothing you can do to predict it.

another minor thing I noticed was that some of the hit boxes are a bit deceiving, the zap lines for instance as super tight, but other things like the moving blades are way smaller than their sprite would suggest.

Anyway, I really did enjoy the game and I'll probably go back to it just to mess around and see if I can beat it faster now that I know what I'm doing. Thanks for the fun.
