This is awesome! Great arcade feel and killer music.

Ah thanks so much, yeah the controls definitely take some getting used to haha. Really appreciate the kind words.

Hey! Thanks so much for the feedback, the camera was super tricky for me to get right on this as it kinda needs to follow the player "ahead" of the direction they're driving, which made it slightly harder to control, but I never found it to be too jittery. Definitely something I'll fix in an updated build when I have more time :)

Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, unfortunately I didn't have time to add music, but I would have loved to.

Hey! Thanks so much for playing, and really glad you enjoyed it!

Hopefully you can get the last 13% haha. Some of the gears are a bit tricky to find.

Yep, correct. it's GameMaker

Hopefully one day, but I don't have the capabilities of doing the builds for those yet unfortunately...

Wow thanks so much! Really appreciate it.

Really glad you enjoyed it! And yeah regarding the final sequence, it can be tight in terms of timing, but the dash is pretty necessary there, I've had quite a few people play test it before release, and some found it harder than others. That being said, it is the final portion of the game, so it's supposed to be challenging :)

Thanks so much for the feedback though!

Me neither! Cool that it does though.

I'll try and sort this error again later, but I think it could be that you're carrying over data from a previous version to a later version

This is fixed and update now in V1.2

Ah yeah, that makes sense. I'll get it sorted ASAP

Hey guys, I've just released my 1-bit dungeon crawler/metroidvania that I've been working on for about a year.

You play as a clockwork toy bird trying to escape a toy factory.

Around 1-3 hours of gameplay (depending on how many secrets you uncover!)

Cheers! I really appreciate it. Glad you had a good time playing :)

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it.

Hey guys, I've just released my new puzzle platformer demo "Mined Out". A game about rotating levels with your hammer to find keys and escape caves! Would love to hear your thoughts/feedback!

Play demo here - https://jamierowan.itch.io/mined-out

Cheers, means a lot!

Not this project unfortunately. I am currently working on a new project which is in development and that will likely be published to Steam. You can follow the progress on my twitter: https://twitter.com/jamie_noware

Hi, thanks a lot! Really appreciate your comments :) unfortunately I don't have access to a linux system so can't use it as a remote builder to build versions of the game that aren't mac or PC :(  Hopefully I'll get access to one soon, and then you'll be the first to know! Stay tuned, as I'm currently working on a new project with a much bigger scope! There will be news/updates on this soon. Cheers

All done in GameMaker Studio 2.

Thanks so much for making a video. Glad you guys had fun playing :)

Awesome man! So glad you were able to finish it. Gonna have a full version out this year.

No problem! There will be a full version out this year, with lots of improvements and additions, so stay tuned :)

Thanks so much! Really appreciate it :)

Thank you! The art/music/sound/coding was all done by one person (me), with some help from a friend doing level design! Would love to have this game released on mobile one day. Will need more content though

xD

Thanks for your feedback! We have updated the game (currently 1.1) Which includes controller support as well as an updated wall jump. Should feel a lot better now.

:) Thank you!

obrigado, atualizaremos o jogo no futuro com economia, além de mais níveis e novas mecânicas

We have just updated the game to V1.1, which now includes Gamepad support. Hope you like it!

Thanks so much! We have just updated it to V1.1, which includes gamepad support along with a few other small changes/additions!

Ah I'm really sorry to hear about your hands! In the next version of the game (1.1) there will definitely be WASD controls! And we will be adding controller support in future instalments. Thank you so much for your kind words regarding the game, and for your really great video too :)

Thank you so much! Really means a lot. We're going to be updating the game to v1.1 in the next few days, which has a few minor improvements. However we are also working on adding a lot more levels/features, which will be in the next main version, coming out pretty soon hopefully!

Hi, thanks for the notice! We're currently working on sorting out the Mac build at the moment, v1.1 should be out in a few days. It also includes updates such as a save/load/level select option, as well as a pause menu.

Will try that. There will be a new version updated today, including saving & level selection as well as a pause menu.

Hi, yeh we've had a few people experience this. It's not a damaged file, but some newer Mac OS have some issues with files downloaded, so you may need to change your security/privacy settings in system preferences. We are also updating the game today to ver 1.1, so keep an eye out for that!

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're aware of this problem. Apparently newer operating systems on Mac don't make it easy to open certain files downloaded from the internet, so you need to change your security/privacy settings in system preferences I think. It's not a damaged file, just something to do with the privacy on some macs :)

Hey! Thanks a lot for the kind words. Totally agree with your feedback, we have started on implementing a save system already, so it will definitely be a feature in the upcoming version :)

Hi guys, I've just published my first game Bombastic on itch, which is a simple puzzle-platformer game with lots of explosion mechanics. I'd love to have some people play test it and let me know their thoughts! All comments and feedback are welcome.

https://noware.itch.io/bombastic

The idea is basically just to clear the room of explodable orange blocks using the players explosive jump ability, whilst avoiding traps and pitfalls. The player can use their jump to blow up blocks, set off chain reactions, ignite cannons, walljump etc.

The game is in its early development so has 30 levels to play through at the moment :)

Would love to hear everyones thoughts on the game, and let me know if you find any bugs or if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Also follow my twitter for updates on the game - https://twitter.com/noware_games

Thanks for playing! :)
