You'll have to reinstall completely, unfortunately, there was an issue with the android version a while back that necessitated this course of action.
However, a new feature implemented recently will allow you to skip back up to near the point in the story you were at. Simply start a new save on the freshly reinstalled game, exit to the title menu, then start again and you should encounter the new skip points feature.
