I have a question ... I looked inside equipment.gd in order to change one item of armor type for Padded Armor from medium armor to cloth, wanting to have armor other than that for mage for my assassin, I also accidentally found lines of code with names bow1-4 and staff1-4 hence my question, do you have any more bow and staff weapons in your plans and this line is a some kind of placeholder or something ??
I didn't add any bow or staff options but added several armor, weapons, and shields. When you open a chest it selects an item from a tier of items. There used to be 10 weapons (club, dagger, sword, heavy sword, spear, great spear, bow, longbow, staff and master staff) and 12 armors. I increased that to 38 weapons, 8 shields and 32 armors. This greatly reduced the drop rate of bows and staffs. I added noncraftable bow and staffs to increase the drop rate.
You are right, i did some more thorough testing with the relatives feature with Conquest Tweaks mod and i found the beginning slaves to have no inheritable traits. I didn't notice because they were the only slaves i kept for testing. I reinstalled the updated mod, and the trait bug is still there but i know it isn't your mod causing it now.
