Hey everyone, after starting work on Future UI over a year ago, and after a pretty challenging 12 months of life getting in the way of progress, it's finally out!

The second in a series of Sci Fi sound libraries, I had a lot of fun exploring different techniques to create the library's 800+ sounds.

It's useful for essential interactions (buttons, navigation sounds, errors and alerts, etc) and building an atmosphere around them (spaceship and computer room ambiences, holographic effects, ominous alarms, data scramble and text animation loops and more!)

I wanted to provide a range of sounds from worn computer terminals (the sort of thing you might find in Blade Runner) to bright holographic chimes and all things between. I'm already pretty excited about designing new sounds for the first update.

I also enjoyed working up some fake UI visuals for the trailer, both to test and refine sounds from the library and to explore different UI styles – I'm considering developing a full range of UI art asset packs sometime in the future. Here are some loose style exploration mocks, some of which made it into the trailer!

Future UI
is on intro sale until the end of August – hope you have fun with it if you decide to pick it up! I've also added a few sounds from the library to the free sound fx pack on my itch.io page.

All the best,
