So,i have a game i'm working on,and i'm wondering,if i can submit a game from an old game jam,to another game jam?(Ik,i'm dumb, but don't rub it in my face please-)(Although,people might see the game and if i submit it,the other game jam is in 10 days and might be spoiled god this is risky-)

Hey there,

For the most part it’s fine to post one game to multiple game jams. However keep in mind that if a game is submitted to multiple game jams and it doesn’t fit the theme, it might be seen as spammy behaviour, and you might be prevented from posting on any more game jams.

It’s hard to tell where the line is drawn, but in general, if there’s a couple game jams and your project fits on all of their themes, then it should be fine.

Hope that helps :)

As a side note, you can see this thread for occasions where users might be posting to multiple game jams.

Thanks,it kind of fits both themes well since the first one is Themed anime, and the second is themed autumn and it fits both themes.I just combined them both and added some stuff since if people have gotten my idea already.

All this, and also check the rules. Some jams allow old games, but most don't. It depends. If in doubt, ask the organizers. Most jams have a community for just that sort of thing. Hope this helps.

I asked both, and the first one said it's ok as long as the game fits both themes and it's the same timeframe.

(Thanks)
