Hello Studio Elan team,

Operating System: Window's 10 (64-bit)

Version of the game: 1.1

In chapter 4, when Abigail is about to tell Maddie about her relationship with her sister the game crashes and stops responding when trying to move to the next line in the conversation from the sentence "At first, I expect her to stay quiet, like before. But instead, she keeps talking." (a rather unfortunately ironic moment to freeze!).

This occurs both with the Abigails Story Anti-Patch.py file in the game file and with it deleted.

Choices: I have to keep her strong
                    She'll pay for this

All the best :)

I'm having a very similar issue, but at the very beginning of the story. As soon as the visuals cut to Eysenfeld, the game performance drops to a crawl with maybe one or two frames per second; and then, when I try to advance the text, it continues runnning at a crawl for maybe another second or two and then freezes entirely and doesn't continue. I've tried the scene in version 1.0, and then in 1.1 with the anti-patch in the game directory, and then 1.1 with the anti-patch deleted, and the failure happened in exactly the same way in exactly the same place regardless of those details.

(And I'm also on Windows 10 64-bit.)

Update: I did a bunch of fiddling around trying to fix it, and after several unsuccessful bits of trial-and-error, I found something definitive: the issue happens when I'm using my CPU's integrated graphics processor (which, incidentally, I hadn't realized was my laptop's default, and wow that explains some things in retrospect), but when I switch over to an actual GPU suddenly it runs fine. Moreover, at that point it runs fine even with the anti-patch. Hopefully this is helpful.

Just seen there was an official topic for bug report. Glitch on the last choice : any pick I make triggers the same ending. I attached the concerned save file from where I got the problem.

Edit : in fact I have the same symptom on another dialogs. Or it's a bug or... All route haven't all choices available ? I don't know. I'll try more things. I want this happy end godammit :p

Edit2 : ok had my good ending. Ahm. Not a super fan of the choice picking/result, it wasn't obvious at all. Still the story was good ! I totaly forgive you :o

Oh another small glitch. The Tara monologue at the bad ending where Morgan dies, it's not marked as being voiced by Tara in the game (because I heard her although I had muted her voice).

(...I though her lines were a tiny bit overplayed. Anyway. I'm more of a text people, could have cut them all but hey. This is an experience I didn't knew before.)

EDIT : one more thing, I see there is a CG 18+ for Morgan/Tara. I never triggered it, is that on a special route ? Was not implemented because of lack of sprite maybe ? Either way, wasn't my priority, I wanted the full content after all x)

Hello! I'm not sure if this thread is still actively checked but when playing through the game I changed the font to OpenDyslexic and there's a weird graphical bug whenever the text block is more than one line long, like so:

The entire thing becomes visible whenever the text scroll makes it to the end but it makes it very difficult to read along. The bug is consistent regardless of what the other settings are set to. In case it's an issue with my monitor I have a 59hz 1366x768 screen; I'm using an Nvidia GTX 1060 through an HDMI to VGA adapter on Windows 10.

Hello, not sure if this is the place to report feedback but I was playing the ps5 version. I went into the extras screen and clicked on the top music room icon and that started the game for some reason from there. Gamestate was a fresh start I had just purchased the game. There seems to be a slight display issue with the text being ever so slightly cut off by the name sometimes. Playing on the default ps5 output resolution and reproduce steps I guess would be starting up a new game with no saves, going directly to extras and selecting the music room icon from the top.

Running the latest Unified version 2.1.4 of Heart Of The Woods on Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX3070 Graphics.
The game starts but immediately closes the window. Can get it to start if I start the game repeatedly. Disabled antivirus for the game but issue is still present. Same thing with National Park Girls and other games after going "Unified". Twofold seems to be working just fine (as another Ren'Py based game).
I'm at my wits end and will want to return to older versions of the game in order to get it to start up properly and consistently.

Kindest regards.

Is there a fix for this issue?

I am running Windows 10. RTX3070 graphics card.

I have found that if I launch the game (Heart of the woods/National Park Girls/Highway Blossoms) multiple consecutive times it will start up.
However it's not really normal to have to start the games over and over like that. The issue started when you rolled out the latest updates for these games.

Also the game Twofold starts fine without any issue whatsoever....

I would love to figure this one out...
