Bug? White screen

I have been playing this straight for a couple hours, very good game... but at one level, I don't remember which one but my highest stone was 79, I played a card, it was this purple one that stays on your hand combined with negative.

The card turned colorful and the description was a placeholder using fillers like "NaN". Then the board was full of fire and the opponent said something like "W-what was that?" Then the screen turned white... and froze forever

Yep, that's intentional. : )

Except, are you sure negatives were involved? This should only occur with X-stone, which is never negative unless something went VERY wrong.

What do you mean intentional? Is it like a chance card and it's just game over? I was sad I couldn't finish the hwole map...

Yes youre right it was the remaining energy card.

Oh, you can keep playing! Just refresh the page! It should save all of your progress.

(It does effectively make you lose the current match if you play it. It isn't random though.)

Ah then it probably was a problem with my laptop not saving it. But still 10/10 game! Had a lot of fun.

Huh, I guess your browser auto-clears your cache or cookies. I can't prevent that, but I added a cheat code to restore "your" save file:
If you hold down the "E" and "Y" keys while you click New Game, the new file will have all levels completed up to 79.

Also, players can now press Esc to exit the white screen, instead of having to refresh the page.

I appreciate it a lot!

If for some reason the game didn't save your progress, let me know and I'll do my best to fix it.

I think what happened here is that the player has 29 energy. Playing the X card at 29 while keeping it in your hand makes your remaining energy 0.
