I was forced to cleaning mesh of model . Now I do unwraping UV model for textures. I will try use for textures real parts of face of me+girfriend and mix it with drawings :) I still do UV map because of model changes.

basic face skin done, also ears (I used photo of GF :D ), Eyes, hairs, beard ect.... not finished yet. It is only work in progress pictures. :)..... Ska

I need texturing clothes yet, but now I switch to animation improvements. Feeling I has to do something else :)  So I am doing now another Iddle aniamtion and has to do some random picking idle status. Later I ad some more idles animations and acting will be random. X -mas aproaching, but I keep work. There is no free time for me :) No rest...this is my rest :)

First animation reworked took to long, but now I am bit smarter in doing this and might increase bit speed in next. I guess I will look only for basic animation in this version so walk, idle, attack .......next animations I will improve in next version.

I already has Finished this animations: Idle, walk, turning, attack down. I keep also fixing some minor bugs discovered at level I-II. In this levels I got almost fully implemented new hero model. I hope, I finish this animation part in week from now. Most important is for 2.6.5 fixing distant jump ...it sux currently and dont work properly. I think jump fixing takes like 2-3 days.  for adding content I to level II-III i give another week. So there is plan finish 2.6.5 till end of year. Rest of features I move to another version, because there is lot of changes already :) . And I like to since new year also starts that steam page :P

I almost finished crouching animations (start,crouch,stop) .....I need Idle crouc as I discovered. Also there is some turning bug

Keep reworking animations. Crouching disarmed is complete, now I start with armed animations.

Armed Idle and To Arms animations done. Now I start do attacks again (except attack down which is already fixed). I guess 2-3 more nights, before I rework all current animations used in game.

Happy xmas.  I has much less time for fixing animation due xmas. I do like 2 animations per night. Still missing like 8 animation to fix. 24-25.12 I guess I has to have break. When I consider such progress I rework all animation for this version 29-30.12.

Happy new Year. I keep work on animations. I got like  80% done. Some might need upgrades in next version, but for now I has to do at least playable animations for current version. In next version I will do it smoother and more variation based on skills. :)  Once again HAPPY NEW YEAR :) Skal.

All animation from previous  animations count done. Tommorow I will try implement all of it and restore same count of aniamtion in compare with old model. I can  do some 

new topic later. It will be distant jump force again ( I think I try do better jump ike for 4th time) .After It I think I has most job for 2.6.5 done and move rest unfinished topics for this version to the next 2.6.6

Renamed game to Lost viking only bycause byzantine empire couldnt even exist in my alternative future (Roman empire never settled)

Jump start looks playble. Animation are ugly/funny in next version I will keep in polishing. NoW I has to implement changes to all level (was testing in level I)

After it I Try pass levels as testing and after it I can start do last topics before release :) Some fun adding content :P .....But tonight boring implementation in progress...and perhaps some play testing

Ofcourse it shows up there is lots of new bugs :)  Now I fight with evilf forces during climbig due to changes in almost all aspects of movements.  Also I try even with that bugs pass further testing some jump situations and I need bit more extend jump curve.

Jump curve is for now "very friendly" .....:) and there is almost no problem with distant jump , or climbing . Now occures some other bugs with running + jump

Also I has to take a look on FPS mode where is no change since previos version.....

Whole movement side view or FPS view starts to look good.  And best part it is not "teleporting" movement but pure physics :P I got few more things to check, but basic movemnt and jump are fine. Finally I got feeling mechnics starts work physically based :P

Climbing is also nicer now and working better. :P .....Last big bug I have discovered connected with new changes is during "take " actions. I need fix this too.

After it I hopefully has done all main bugs for this version and put some few sound/graphic content before release.

New  4 bugs during testing appears (2 solved, 2 remains) . I decided to move rest of quest to 2.6.6. 2.6.5 is to long in development and I need to release. 

This means no expansion on steam yet. 2.6.6 I will continue in extend content. 2.6.5 has alreadylots of new featrures, but still far from get enough content for level II, III .  Hopefully tommorrow I fix those two bugs.

Few more bugs discovered, but all big bugs bastards from previous day solved. I think I can release if I pass all 3levels wihout big stuck tommorow. :P ARAGGHHH !!!!!

No I didn't again :) Some bugs connected with switching views apperars. Mostly disabled mouse in "cliks" actions. Now I hope so this kind of bugs fixed.

Also I discovered one unfinished bug during action ( croucch / take ) in climb Zone. Not much important bug . but I guess I has to fix this too. But not enough time today. I will do tommorow. I tried Pass level I , II without more problems. Level III is not tested yet.  Might be done also tommorow

I passed all levels, Thats good news........ but during testing the released version I discovered 3 more bigger bugs  in play mechanics.  :(  One I fixed, but 2  more left. I can't  release with this those bugs. So I has to give it few more days and fix it first .......Maybe I will fix it in one day, but not sure how it goes, They look tricky. We  will see :) Skal !

I  fixed two bugs I was talking about, but I discovered 2 more from different features. When I take helath potion to drink, hero move sometimes to far, to reach potion to grap and it ends-up sometimes by unwanted death ( for example I moved over edge and fall on knifes) Second bug, more annoing, is that taken food doesn't count. this feature was working earlier, but I did something which now cause that is not woring. Again I has to move relase and fix this two bugs

No more bugs fixing, testing. 2.6.5 is out ! :)   Now  I do some new screens, GP video, ect.

Lets go work on 2.6.6 ! :D

I started work on new update today, but only for short time.   I go sleep earlier today after few months :)  To take new breath for work on next update :) Skal !

Cool...... Healer is very usefull skill: 

Without skill: 

  • Player could only instantly heal by drinking founded potion

Now with skill HEALER (rank 1) : 

  • He can drink immidiatly founded potion if he has half or less health
  •  He take and store potions in inventory 
  • use autohealing if he had stored potions in invetory and half or less health.

My Yggdrasil screen has now working new feature. Description which shows over skills and explain what it allows ( for testing I did only some fast description)

Animations done. Good for now - rat can :  eat, die, run , sniff, jump   later I can add more. For this version good enough. :)  Now lets do some code for behaviour :P

Rat can be killed by player now. also by any weapon,but goblins dont care about rats right now :) I like to  also do worms attack rats and perhaps in future worms like to eat aso dead rats. this might be advantage for player.

for now I try only make rat run if check worm nearby ad worm attack rat if close. rest AI eat, ect in later versions. I guess I finish this topic tommorow. At least I hope so. After it I add fewgraphic to level II

Today I added few new content to level IV beginning and also there is for now testing field batlle worms vs rats :) I also fixed few bugs connected with rats.

Rats are good enough for this version.  In next updates I teach them more. 

 Now they can/other beasts responds: 

  •  run, if player touch them
  •  run, if they spot worms
  • Worms consider rats as prey, so they try hunt them.
