Looking For:
An Assistant Game Designer

Our Talent:
A Unity Developer
A 2D Spine Animator,
Two 2D Artists,
A Music Composer,
A Sound Designer,
A Marketing Strategist.

Project:
Lost in The Open is a 2.5D turn-based tactical roguelike. Please check out the steam page on https://store.steampowered.com/app/2027380/Lost_In_The_Open/ to see whether this game looks interesting or not to you.

We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades person. You will have three main responsibilities: generate lots of game design ideas and content, generate ideas for UI and UX (e.g. UI and in-game indicators) and help put together interesting social media content.

The person for this role is someone who is interested in all aspects of games. You also have lots of time on your hands. You will be doing game design, UI design and social media marketing. However, most important is your passion for game design. You are the type of person to spontaneously present interesting game design ideas, while also accepting of having those ideas rejected. You need to be open-minded and creative. You will be working most closely with the lead game designer, but also with everyone else through conversations about the feasibility of your ideas and creating social media content.

It is important that the applicant has enough time to commit to the project and has a stable enough lifestyle right now to commit to about 8 months of collaboration. The game is really ramping up in development. It is a plus if you are flexible enough to commit more time to the project after a successful Kickstarter.

You don't need to have formal game design experience.

DM me if you believe you are up for the task!

Length of Project:
The Kickstarter date is set for February 2022 and the release date is set for November 2023. However, we may finish the game earlier than November 2023.

Split:
The revshare budget for game/UI/social media marketing is up to 9%, but it's also more complicated to measure than other categories. If this is a concern, let me know and we'll talk about it in detail.
Also, the revshare budget is up for discussion and will be revisited continuously.

Contact Method:
Discord is our main communication hub. Add me as a friend on discord and let's talk there.
