Replays won't play properly (POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOUND)

EDIT:  I THINK I HAVE A SOLUTION!

1. Boot up the game

2.  Turn OFF hitboxes

3. Toggle fullscreen on and off

4. Play Singleplayer

5. See if it works! If  the characters move smoothly after 2 turns, then the issue is fixed.

Tell me if this worked out for you.

The replay and the game when not paused would not work properly. When the game moves, there is barely any movement at all, except for a flashing of two frames that barely show the entire scene, as if I am watching the action happen in 1 fps. This is counteracted by operating the game in windowed mode and constantly changing its size, but I don't want to do this every time I wish to witness my #$$ kicked, let alone when the match isn't even over.

However, I just recently had this issue fixed after I focused Medal on the window to record it. I'm not sure whether or not this is replicable or even if Medal is the main fix, but I still urge you to look into this as this issue may occur to those without a screen recorder.

For technical purposes, I am using a laptop running Windows 11 on an Intel i7 core.  It has an Iris Xe for its graphics card with 2 gigabytes of VRAM but boasts a decent 16 gigabytes of RAM.

Best of luck in fixing this issue.

bro i am stumped, you are the only guy here whos having the same issue, i cant fix this for the life of me, i tried medal but like, was it immediate for you? does it only work mid recording or like, without it even open like hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i figured id put there here just incase you have any more insight

Actually I think I got a fix, but I'm not sure if its stable. Basically, you have to start the game, go straight to options and NOTHING ELSE, then go full screen, and then windowed. If not, then you have to restart your PC and repeat the steps. Maybe there are background applications running alongside the game, so try turning them off and repeating the steps. If not, try refocusing Medal on the window. Just tell me if it works out for you.

I have the same issue and i got it to work by turning on hitboxes. its more of a workaround than a fix but it's better than nothing. Also can y'all tell me what you mean by medal

Edit: after a few restarts and a new match, I finally got it to work without hitboxes on. IDK what I did so I can't really explain it

Medal is a free recording software for video games. While you can upload 2 minute clips and record games for free, their premium allows you to upload 10 minutes videos and record your desktop.
