Cowboy is not a cowboy

Listen, if you guys just wanted to make up a new version of a cowboy, then be my guest and have a grand old time making cowboys with swords. Sounds awesome. But personally it just feels really confusing. Maybe give the ninja the yellow sword attacks and the teleport and give the cowbow the yellow ninja attacks and the bombs. Just an Idea to keep the game more consistent.

I agree to an extent, but, I get what the dev is going for here. Cowboy is less cowboy-ey and more like a stereotypical "gunslinger" from an anime fighter. Change the name to gunslinger and 90% of the confusion is solved lmao.

or name him Vergil

This isnt a "new version of a cowboy" though. Ivy has directly called out Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman as Yomi Hustle's primary influence for Cowboy.

Perfect, that's all I was looking for

block this overhead

I think he is more of a musketeer honestly

Musketeers are soldiers with muskets. Cowboy has no musket. He cannot be a musketeer. :P

that's any musketeer, I guess he's thinking about "the musketeers"

ya like "the 3 musketeers"

Yes? Why do you think they are called that? In the original source material, they use muskets as their weapon iIrc. Lmao.

cowboys are just the west's version of samurais,  cowboy here is basically just both combined
