Ninja buff?

Cowboy got a huge buff with impale and Wizard got a good few fun new moves, but Ninja doesn't really have all that much going for it rn (take all of this with a grain of salt, I wouldn't say I'm bad at the game but I can say for certain I'm not really good), the range is relatively small and the other two characters feel like they're packed with methods of keeping their opponent out of reach. I went back and checked Ninja just to make sure I hadn't missed anything, but it doesn't look like it's changed all that much since when I first started playing while Cowboy and Wizard have changed a good bit

You're right in that ninja doesn't have range in his attacks. However, he has many ways to close the gap. Just to name a few: quick slash, air dashes, substitute...

This would literally do almost no damage, and you just straight up can't do it if they di, you're much better off going for kick into nunchuck stuff lmfao.

in an earlier version of this game i was able to nunchuck my friend to death in a corner. Yes he did burst but i called him out on it RIP. Don't know if you could DI out of it.

at the time the nunchuck combo kept him grounded the whole time so i don't think DI up would work unless i did the sentire spinning nunchuck move

They probably need to just nerf wizard and cowboy. They need to either get rid of geyser or confusing touch for wizard- with both of those moves wizard legit has an option for every scenario.  Cowboy's combo are simply just broken (they are super easy to start  and deal tons of damage), and lightning slash hitting on hold is pretty op. It would also be nice to give ninja some sort of tool for fighting wizards.

FC Jump Kick singlehandedly makes the ninja wiz matchup super ninja sided. Once you know all of Wiz's gimmicks, and know when and how to use FC jump kick, he's relatively free. 

right that lightning slash is broken, they should add some kind of controllable clones or BUFF to make ninja more like a ninja style. It is also hard to punish an opponent even though they made a huge mistake because it lacks range and quicker mobility moves to counter certain enemy moves. It is hard to follow up on combos that I was forced to use insta-cancel or quick slash that only gives a few additional frames after the hold if u decided not to use another quick slash to use another move set in exchange for my level. Lastly, it is annoying as a ninja main to just end the combo because of the drop stance (Idk what it calls) that disables the ability to use some quicker attack moves as most of the time we are really dependent on it.      

Ninja is really good right now. There is no need to buff him.

Ninja got buffed a lot. Dash speed can be changed now

but sometimes it doesnt matter in close neutral if u would still get hit unlike the insta teleport, but yeah ur right edit* they can just pommel u all the time

the last time a pommel hit me was about 3.X

Okay, Ninja should be buffed. I agree with that. Do you have any specific ideas for the character, or do you want to keep complaining about the evident problem instead of attempting to fix the problem by giving actual suggestions? You've complained about range. What moves do you think Ninja should have added or buffed so players can close the gap between classes?

Or, rather, because Ninja is supposed to be the standard for balancing, what do you think Cowboy and Wizard should have nerfed or removed so there's a smaller power difference?
