I'm currently working on fixing those controller issues. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen your video!
I tested the game on a USB gamepad that I assumed had the same button layout as the XBOX controller. I'm currently re-arranging the buttons to map directly to the xbox standard, as well as working on a way to rebind keys and buttons to whatever you like.
