So... Can I still trigger the Nauxus date in the Post Neutral War event even if I went to get Axel's favor/route instead of Papi Nauxus?

Not always. Even on neutral/peace you need a low sus-Score with nauxus. 3 or less.

look under: In my opinion the "BEST good/neutral ending":

To get all scenes you need to play the game at least twice: 1x neutral/ peace Ending to get both Nauxus ( Sus =<3) and Thane (automatic on neutral) + 1x Bull / Axel Route (kill Nauxus) to ask Axel for S**.

i agree with berek07. On the good/ neutral ending route, try to be supportive to the lizards. In my playthrough, I only went to bull village for meeting and talking to thane about the war situations. After the war Nauxus had trust in me so he went on a date with me (in the evening) and we had sex together.
