Hop 2D - a frustrating & challenging old-school platform game

Hi,

if you miss some of the old-school tough unforgiving games from the 8 bits era (the well named Game Over 1 & 2, Gryzor, Army Moves or worth Navy Moves, Nebulus, MagMax, and many others like that) you may like Hop 2D by Asthalis.

It's a well done challenging platformer game nicely done and easy to play (only 2 keys) and available on multiple systems with modern features like saving.

If you can keep cool while playing and failing over and over, you'll be able to cope with any stressful situation you may encounter in your life without loosing yourself :).

Are you ready ?

Hey, thanks a lot for this post, I hadn't noticed it yet !

Now that Hop! 2D is complete, all players can compete in a contest I started some days ago. The goal is to go as far as you can (I mean the highest level) and I will validate your performance with the automatic final screenshot when the "game over" message appears (this screenshot is only generated in downloable versions of the game). Of course, you can use the SAVE GAME option (at the end of each level) to do it and start a game from any already unlocked world.

The current record is level 22 and is hold by Pulse.

In a future update, I will add a link to the RECORD page of the game.

You may ask "what is there to win ?".

First, I will add your name in the testers list of the game and, once it is finished, I will send you the BOOK OF THE GAME I'm currently working on.

Good luck and happy playing !

Hello everyone,

Just a short message to say records have gone up quite a bit on my game as the best player (JusTice8, this time) has reached level 48 !

Here's a link to the RECORDS page of the Hop! 2D, I will update it as soon as one of the records is broken.
