I hate to say it but after playing the final product everything new is pretty bad and destroys the creepy vibe. The beta is if all the fat is trimmed out and only the good stuff is left. In final product I wasn't even able to see the silhouette of the monster that chases you around in the locker room, I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, I could see the shadow of it but the model wasn't there at all. The addition of the ticket system is immersion breaking and a awful collect-a-thon that doesn't belong in this game, kills the tension and creepy atmosphere and so does the upbeat vaporwavesque music playing everywhere. The music worked in the beta cause you had already escaped the monster in the locker room and the tension was gone at the proper time. Most of the new areas are boring and feel tacked on, they add nothing interesting and go nowhere. The movie level and mall level with the mannequin were ok but only ok, the eternal golf level is awful and so is the 2 other areas with massive empty spaces that is full of nothing. Several areas have reoccurring bad level design when you can simply choose to leave whenever you like through a elevator, no need to explore and nothing to be found, no real feeling of progress to be had other than the tacked on easter egg hunt for tickets. I had a feeling of uneasiness in the beta that the final release fails to create to the same degree. I'm really glad I bought the beta version before this was released so I can just hold onto that version if I feel like every replaying it or showing it to friends. Sometimes less is more.
