I am the coding ninja a game developer.

I have published three games on itch.io but I don't have many views, browser plays and downloads.

You can try them on my creator's page.

If you have any questions related to the games feel free to ask

If Itch.io is not enough to get more people for your game. Try to find a place to share it. Like, facebook, twitter, and reddit.

Three games!!! WOOW man. Good Luck.

Thanks for the suggestions

Even I thought about using Instagram or Twitter.

I already have a YouTube channel bit only 5 subscribers.

You can try my games on my creator's page.

I hope you enjoy them

Make you game page look better, put some gifs and image, that's makes a lot

Thanks for the suggestion

Dark school seems cool, but the other games are just too generic and not enough to engage people. Dark school could become a good game if you work on it and post it on social media and give it an account.  Maybe create a blog for it??

Well that's because Pixelman was my first game with godot engine and I had made a bunch of projects for practice, then I just decided to publish them in the form of classic games.

I have thought of creating a fandom for dark school btw.

This guy: https://rongrong.itch.io/ has a very big youtube channel and as he says in his description he likes Rpgmaker horror games, not sure if yours is RPG maker but it sure looks like it.

Try contacting him to get you a review or something, maybe luck is on your side.

Thank you!

I'll try to connect him in a few days

You need to advertise as far and wide as feasible. You have  only a few games. It's a good start to build on. Takes a lot of grinding to attract loyal followers. It's an industry that's over saturated at the moment. Keep working and set goals that are achievable. I set a goal that I'd get 15 to 25 views a day every day in 2023. Not much but it's a start and I'll set more ambitious goals later on.

Good luck

Thanks for the advice

If your concerned about downloads then you should look at marketing your games while they are still in development so when they launch they have an audience.

You can share work in progress videos, gifs or devlogs on YouTube, Reddit or here on Itch. To spread awareness of your game

Try posting links to your game on social media or appropriate forums on Itch.io, marketing can be very difficult as it's hard to ask people to play your game, even if it's free.

Hope that helps. Marketing is hard

True.

Marketing is hard and sometimes it takes a lot of time and money 😔

I just checked your game pages and I'll be completely honest, they lack gifs and good page design work on it and I'm sure everything will be good! Don't give up though.

Even I think I need to work on the game pages
