share your experience  itch.io

Step 1: Cultivate following off platform game is on (like Itch).
Step 2: Link game.

You're probably going to get more attention if you spread on other platforms like NG and Gamejolt.

I think I'll open an account on Gamejolt when I got the time to update my games again.

New grounds seems to only accept online games while Gamejolt front page has the majority of their games from studios, not from mere mortals like me making their game during free time...

Yeah, NG only accepts web builds rather than downloadable games, but it's definitely worth making a web build of your game because you get more comments on there. The comments might be unhelpful, or even borderline psychotic- but beggars can't be choosers, right?!

We've got nowhere with Gamejolt either (tips, anyone?), but for FNF mods, that's the place to go...

Not all games can be deployed for web, mine included :(

its been awesome. if you get involved in the community with jams, forum and actually playing games and leaving feedback/ideas its a very powerful site.

also i have always been treated nicely even when ive screwed up on forum rules etc.

love this place. its the only place i can really call home for my creativity.

have been lucky enough to get involved in jams and make it onto a popular anthology.
