The items you have to buy make no sense
I'm not talking about how there is a shop in game, I actually like that idea
its the fact that you start out in the negatives that confuse me. If you don't have enough money (for whatever reason) you don't have access to the 100+ price you have to pay to get some pills to make the spooky women leave you alone
Another one is the notebook logging, its there to help you determine what ghost your fighting, another good feature, however its a bit infuriating because you can't cross out the ones you KNOW don't work. This means that you either go through each and every page one by one trying to figure out which ones do and don't have the requirement or you keep going though each and every option until something sticks, all while trying to avoid getting caught and managing your fear.
another issue is if you get caught in a hunt the game straight up tells and shows you what spirit type it is
which makes me question why you'd go through all the effort of actually finding the ghosts quirks and then using those quirks to figure out what ghost it is, you can basically just take the read and heat measure, run through every room till you find the spawn room, do all the side tasks, stand in a dark room, wait for the hunt to begin, head back to the spawn room to get attacked by said ghost figure out what type they are go back to the van get that tool, come back and then fuck it, its not fun and you basically brute force your way through a good chunk of the games core features just because you can. Yes there are ghosts that have special hunt features but in the end its just you running around the building till they attack you at random and then you go back to just capturing them. It's just confusing,. A suggestion to give is to make all of the ghost fuck you in there default hunt spirte and the game doesn't tell you,. mitigating the brute force tactic
would this be extra work, yea, but at least the items in the game feel useful
if any of these are issues the community already adressed I apologize, I don't really get into game communities that much unless the game is basically locked behind community involvement to have fun
