Hey, developer here!

I updated the game's page to a community discussion board, but in turn that means the comment section is removed sadly (I wish there was an option for both). Fear not though! I saved a copy of the page as a PDF so if you'd like to view what folk of the past had to say, then click the link below!

Hey Kanto? The "snatch A Meal" achievements are failing to unlock for me, what do I do?

Let me double check to see if their functioning properly, but it would help if we can pinpoint which ones are causing issues. Double Trouble, Triple Threat, Warming up the Grabbers, Snatch it Fast!, Stealing lots of Plates, Working Out those Snacks, and A Hundred Morsels are the ones I can remember off the top of my head for that game mode's achievements. Hopefully it'll be something easy to patch ;D

why can’t play the old version of the game or can you have the option to play with out the achievements so you can play the all character and achievements could be for skins because it’s very hard for me like an classic mode

Apologies for the late reply, I agree with achievements being annoying in the newer version and the next major update is supposed to untether characters from specific achievements. I could look to see if I have a version before the achievements update that I could upload for ya sometime soon (~24hr-ish if I have a copy).

From the design perspective, Achievements were added as a way to encourage players to play the different games and try challenges for those games, with character unlocks as an incentive to go for those achievements. But as I'm still learning as a developer and trying out new things, implementation worked okay, but iteration and execution fell flat. I've been meaning to post an update about the game's status, but so far plans are to get the major update to fix this issue out by end of 2023/January 2024.

Have a good day and happy turkey week! :3

I... Strangely don't have a V1.3.X saved, I'm currently looking to see if anyone might have that version by chance. So it might be a bit before you can replay the older one 😅

James I think you had good intentions when adding achievements thinking it would be fun  but if not made right could be like an grind of an game and can get repetitive to some players sure it’s good make updates but ask your community for suggestions
