I just played a game where I had three slaves wanting a stimulant potion by day 10, just to get them to level 2 or 3. To put this in perspective, I actually managed to get whole story quest finished by day 14 but I hadn't seen any of the alchemy fluid component by day 10.
Maybe the levelling requirements could be split into two groups, one for level 2-3 and one for levels 4+, putting things like the stimulant potion and the grade raise into the 4+ category.
