From what I have seen, this game has the potential to be amazing, both in terms of quality and success. The art style is interesting, the gameplay strikes a good middle ground between being understandable and having lots of intricate and intriguing complexities. Depending on how long and large the finished game is, you could have a genuine hit in the making, perhaps a true successor in equal to Slay the Spire, rising from the sea of mere imitators. The semi-automated sidekick system in particular is a nice addition to the formula. "This, but more and bigger" is the only thing I could ask for.
My only true complaint is that the lag and general performance is lackluster. I have an ok-but-not-great computer, and it is inexcusable for a pixel-art game to be so choppy and lurchy. If this is Unity's fault and not yours, I apologize.
