Is there any point in pausing production in the storage screen? Currently maxed out on all assets (long haul) but what do I gain by pausing production? Just saying.
Some productions require the same base materials. By pausing a production, you can prioritise the other productions, or fill the stroage with the base material. It has no benefit apart from some control over what is produced or stored. If your stroage is already full, then it's not needed for you anymore.
