FPU Required?

I've been trying out the new demo on a few different machines, both virtual and, uh, not, and so far I've only gotten the game to start when there is a floating-point unit installed (or support built in to the CPU). Otherwise the game hangs forever on "Loading assets" (it doesn't even draw the empty progress bar).

I don't know if you intended for an FPU to be a requirement or not; it's a perfectly reasonable requirement if so. But it isn't listed in the documentation here, so I thought I'd make sure this was a known thing.

Thanks!

Very interesting! Acronia does use floating point operations here and there, but I figured they would be emulated in software if not supported on the user’s hardware.

I will absolutely check this out and see what I can do about it. May just be a compiler setting I missed. I would definitely like the game to be able to run whether there’s an FPU installed or not.

Thanks for letting us know!
