When you rebirth, it looks like any Coins you have are lost, and replaced by the amount specified by "Start Coins" on the Rebirth menu.  Is that right?

I just Rebirthed earlier with a few million Coins unspent - did I simply lose them?

If so, it is worth warning people on the Rebirth menu where it says "all your turrets; and monsters' coin upgrades will be erased" and adding words like "and all your Coins except for the amount of Start Coins".

I mean, what will the point of rebirthing then? If you wont lose coins, you will be able to buy everything, or almost everything back immediately. And also start coins upgrade should suggest you additionaly

But anyway, fair point, coins resetting better to be mentioned to avoid any confusion. I guess im just too used to idle games
