I'll be very brief about this but i'd like to submit the idea of an equipment forge here.
You already are able to customize a huge part of the game which is great while at some point youre stuck with characters
not beeing able to progress any further stat and equipmentwise. This happends surprisingly fast. 
After some farming i did ingame i noticed that the veriety of equipment you can get is very spare. 
A forge would give players not only some fun on the side but also an aim to make the best equipment for the team.
