How to kneel with mouse

Hey. I really like the concept, but I can't seem to find a way to kneel while using mouse/keyboard.

Another bug I noticed is that she sometimes confuses a yes for a no even when clearly moving up/down.

Another issue is that there doesn't seem to be a way to configure the controls yet, which is a bit problematic when using an AZERTY keyboard. But seeing as this game is still in a very early stage that's quite forgivable.

On a positive note: I love the way she sounds genuinely pleased when you obey her. The voice actor did a fine job.

Keep it up!

Thank you for the feedback! The game definitely isn't set up for mouse/keyboard at this time, but I will look into supporting it sooner than later. When I do, I'll see about adding control customization as well!

Thanks for the feedback!

Okay, I've just updated the build with some changes that should let you pick options when you can't do them with a mouse and keyboard. There's now a journal you can open with the 'E' key. Try it out! Let me know if it works for you.

Great! I appreciate feedback being worked with.

It does work. However, when one points/looks at the journal to choose options, one gets the comment of having looked away without permission.
The poses also don't seem to change the camera's elevation (such as when kneeling).

These points combined with pointing at options in a book sadly seem to hinder immersion.

The floating heads in the beginning for explaining the yes/no head motion mechanic also detracted from the immersion at the very beginning (for me). Maybe consider removing them and perhaps have it explained as text before one is dropped into the world? Or perhaps simply through a line from the Mistress?

Before this visual tutorial was implemented, I had fun figuring out that I could answer by shaking my head, and simulating the upright pose by pointing a bit upwards.

I'm assuming the 'Hold trigger to assume position' popups aren't meant for mouse/keyboard, but if they were: I did get most working. Although the very last pose seemed impossible to do without using the journal.

If this game keeps on developing, I'll probably buy a VR device just to play it.

Excellent detailed feedback, thank you.

There's definitely more work to do on the keyboard and mouse side. Your details about the most frustrating bits helps a lot!

Good point about the heads being out-of-theme. I figured the floating text was too and I was looking for the most explicit way to reach people how to respond. Some player's don't speak or read English, so it helps them get through a bit.

I'll see if I can come up with a demonstration that's less immersion-breaking. 馃榿

I also want to flag specific actions that aren't mouse and keyboard friendly, like poses, to just display buttons on the screen.

Thanks again for giving it a try for us! It really helps.

This game seems awesome! But full keyboard support is a must.

This is definitely on our log of things to improve!

So i tried playing as well myself, but when i gave it a shot, keyboard controls did not work at all. the game simply did not respond to any inputs given from the very start

Huh. Definitely not as designed! I'll have a look! Thanks for letting us know.

Henlo, do you have SteamVR installed? You might need to uninstall that to get mouse and keyboard controls to take over.

alright i'll try that out next time i play and let you know if it works!
