Sometimes I just randomly die when I jump up on a vine. I noticed that there are two types of vines, but the ones with thorns don't always kill me. How can I tell if a vine is deadly or not?

they are all  deadly but the glider gives you immunity to them!
sorry about the bug.. some % of them are not working as intended
