Making Cider2 available as a PacMan ZST package or an AUR pkgbuild package would be nice, as I can't use cider2 on my arch linux install currently.

I just created an aur package by using the deb package. If someone know what license cider2 uses, I'll be very grateful.

cider2-bin

  -> Downloading cider_2.2.0_amd64.deb...
curl: (3) URL rejected: Bad file:// URL
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading file://cider_2.2.0_amd64.deb    Aborting... -> error making: cider2-bin-exit status 1 -> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required:
cider2-bin - exit status 1

you need to download the PKGBUILD file and cider_2.2.0_amd64.deb into the same directory and use the command "makepkg"

My Manjaro was installed successfully according to your method, but failed to start.

The phenomenon is that there is no response when clicking for the first time, and it reports that the port is occupied when clicking for the second time.

I could've sworn there was a .pkg.tar.zst file already posted on here? I got it to work upgrading the cider AUR package.

Yes, there were files posted with the Cider v2.1 and v2.2.0 Release, but I think they forgot it because of the hotfix of v2.2.0.

Unfortunately a tar.zst was not prepared in time for the latest release. We aim to have this back in the next release, unfortunately you will need to wait. Sorry for any inconvenience.

.appimage works :shrug:

100% agree
