I'm honestly not sure. I've played many games on itch and I have a different Digimon game that I have from itch. None of them have given me a notification about any kind of Malware. I'm no kind of programmer so I'm not going to try and guess what the issue could be cuz I truly don't know. I can still play the game because it doesn't prevent me from actually playing it but it just oddly showed it as Malware.
