Hi. So, I'm playing as the guy, at the pirate invasion, and the assassin fight. What exactly am I supposed to do? I thought the answer was beating him, but even after I leveled enough to do it instead it just causes the combat to repeat after I step on a certain tile. I've cleared the ship, talked to the guy at the top of the ship, but otherwise don't know what to do. I'd appreciate any help.

In order to pass the pirate ship, you need to save a maid in the fort area who is being assaulted. Save her, go up and find a demon in the fort. He will tell you about a special storage area. Steal the key to said storage area from the fort commander's room, go out and around the fort to the center back and the head down. Interact with what you find there and then continue with the pirate invasion as normal.
