I tried downloading the game on 3 different browsers and used WinRar to repair and extract the game, I have no clue why its still corrupt and wont work. I understand that this is not  a problem with the game I just advice on how to fix this, it looks like a great game I just cant play it right now.

That’s odd…apologies for the issues, but I could’ve sworn everything was working the day I uploaded it. Hopefully Itch.io isn’t corrupting the zip somehow. Either way, I’ve reuploaded “MSCv005_Windows.zip” on the downloads page. Please let me know if the new zip works. To any other Windows users that see this, have you been experiencing this problem too?

i don't believe its the game, it might be itch.io because i have downloaded other games and some are fine but others just seem to corrupt straight out of the download, im not entirely sure maybe my web browsers are just being bad idk, sorry if this caused any issues.

No issues caused, only issues fixed. I appreciate that you’ve come forth to point out the problem, as this is all fresh news to me. I’m pretty sure there’s a problem on itch.io’s serverside that borks everything. I’ve just tested the Linux download and that seem’s broken too. If it happens agian, let me know as soon as possible so that I can sort everything out.

To everyone: All biulds have been reuploaded, so please let me know if your respective OS zip/tar works. Thank you!

I'm running Windows 11, to help with testing I attempted to download the Windows version. It started download for a time (at an unusually slow speed) but then stopped, citing a 'network error'

Clicking the button to resume, it continued to download for a time. Then it gave me the same thing. Clicking the button to resume again, it stopped and stopped citing 'no permissions'.

Clicking the refresh button then seemed to generate this mysterious thing called "9156248" above it. Clicking the refresh button on either this thing or the zip just generates another 9156248.

This is definitely something new as I had already downloaded the game near .005's launch without a hitch.

Update: I managed to download it, but when I opened the file it gave me an error calling the archive 'invalid', then when I opened it with Winrar it cited an "Unexpected End of Archive"

Hey Mint, Mystery numbers usually generate within the filename while downloading said file. If they’re still there, it likely indicates an incomplete/partial or in-progress download. I am unable to replicate the error. Have you tried completing an uninterrupted download of the Windows zip yet?

I made several attempts at a download to see if the results would repeat. They did until I made another attempt just now. The file downloaded quickly and when I opened it and checked it with Winrar the errors were completely absent, the file appeared to have everything it needed. I then unzipped, booted the game up, and played as normal. I think at least for windows the issues have passed, and I haven't seen any signs of file corruption.
