The Recommendations Page Needs A "Not Interested" Button

I was thrilled when I found out this site has a recommendations page that recommends games based on what you've rated( at least the "Community recommendations" section of it does. The "Fresh recommendations" seems to just be what's trending.).

Sadly my excitement was short-lived... Once I had gone through it a few times, it slowly became entirely bogged down by games I have zero interest in playing. The only way I could possibly get rid of these game recommendations would be to give them a one-star rating, but that hardly seems fair to the dev.

So I'm suggesting Itch add a "Not Interested" button to allow users to remove the game from the recommendation page just as it would a game you've rated.

Here's the page I'm talking about: https://itch.io/library/recommendations

You can dismiss games from rating "forever". Does this remove games from the recommendations, like if you rated the game?

You would have to interact with the game to have it show up in your rating queue.

It would be expected behaviour, but who knows how the algorithm really interprets your interactions and recommendations.

Also, yes, do not rate games 1 star. In addition to being unfair if you do not honestly think it is a 1 star game, it might not do for your recommendations what you think it does. It might screw your recommended tags for example. Just because you have not interest in a particular game would not mean that you do not like the tags the game had in general.
